Neil has been teaching in UK secondary schools and language schools in Spain, Turkey, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, for civilian and military establishments since 1986. He also auditioned once for Theatre School training at Bristol's Old Vic theatre. After the family moving to England when he was 6 years old, he's trying now to get somewhere with his grandparents' language, Welsh. A vegetarian since 1981, brown belt in classical jiu-jitsu in 2018, he enjoys cooking, still has hopes of becoming a rock god, and secretly believes he could be a better Dr Who than all them since the 1970s...
