To qualify for Council Tax exemption, your course must last at least 1 calendar or academic year, be for 21 or more hours per week and you must undertake the course for at least 24 weeks of the year. If any of your circumstances change in the future, you must notify Council Tax (such as a change in course hours) to prevent an overpayment.
