// Language, Methodology and Culture for Overseas Teachers of English
This course is designed for teachers of English to improve their teaching skills and is aimed at non-native teachers of English. You will have the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) for overseas teachers.
// Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)
This is a one or two week course for lower intermediate and above speakers of English who teach at secondary and tertiary level (11 years and older). The course explores the techniques and methodology underlying CLIL. CLIL helps students at secondary and tertiary level to learn English and gain knowledge of curricular subjects by learning those subjects in English.
// Professional Development for Education Providers
This course will empower you with new skills and give you time to reflect on your own teaching habits. You will have the opportunity to focus on your professional development journey and consider the development needs of your own practice and of the educational providers around you.
// Using ICT in Teaching English as a Foreign Language
This course will help you to become familiar with current uses and practices involving technology in the classroom.
// Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) taster course / shadow a teacher programme
These courses are suitable for people thinking of becoming an English Teacher. It will give you the opportunity to shadow an English Language teacher and see if teaching TEFL is the career you wish to pursue. Shadowing a teacher can be done for one or two days and in conjunction with a full teacher training course. Why not take one or two days to get firsthand experience of life in the classroom. Shadowing a teacher costs £35 per day and you must book in advance.
